Introducing My New Podcast: Exploring Architecture as a Living Dialogue

I’m excited to announce the launch of my new podcast, a project rooted in the belief that architecture is ultimately about people, place, and connection. At MK Designs Atelier, architecture isn’t just structure; it’s a living dialogue between the built and the human.

Each episode explores the intersection of design, culture, and community, asking how spaces shape the way we live and come together. From craft to urban futures, the podcast dives into stories and ideas that challenge us to see architecture as an active, evolving conversation.

With the podcast now underway, here’s a look at the first two episodes already released:

Episode 1 — Riken Yamamoto: Architecture, Community, and the Spaces Between

The first episode introduces listeners to the work and philosophy of Riken Yamamoto, whose approach to transparency, community, and shared spaces has reshaped contemporary architectural thinking.

In this episode, I unpack how Yamamoto’s projects blur the boundaries between private and public realms, and how his work offers a powerful model for designing spaces that encourage connection, participation, and everyday interaction.

It sets the tone for the podcast’s central theme: architecture as a human-centered practice rooted in social life.

Episode 2 — The Manhattan Transcripts: When Architecture Becomes Narrative

The second episode turns toward theory, focusing on Bernard Tschumi’s Manhattan Transcripts and the way they redefine architecture through event, movement, and story. I explore how the Transcripts use narrative as a form of drawing and how this approach can open new ways of thinking about urban experience, choreography, and the relationship between people and space.

This episode pushes listeners to consider architecture not only as physical form but as a sequence of lived moments, a concept that ties directly back to the mission of MK Designs Atelier.

These early episodes mark the beginning of a broader journey through architectural ideas, cultural landscapes, and the experiences that shape our cities.

More episodes are on the way, and I can’t wait to continue expanding the dialogue — one story, one concept, one space at a time.
